At the time of submitting my Research Project Proposal, I had stated in my report that the two game prototypes will be tested during the Safer Internet Day Event on the 7th of February 2023. However, it did not take place as scheduled because the games were still in the development stage. Hence, I have learnt that setting rigid schedules and/or prediction of the outcome is not a good practice in Research project management. According to Albert Einstein Links to an external site. "If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?"

Besides, as a full-time computer science teacher, I have many competing demands on my time, from writing lesson plans and creating PPTs for 4 different grades that I teach, my student assessment tracking and data analysis and lots of non-teaching (administrative) tasks all of which comes with deadlines. I now know that management of a research project is full of uncertainty and complexity (Ernø-Kjølhede, 2000).
